What you Need to Know to Protect Yourself from Fraud & Scams

There has been an increase in fraud and scams over the last few weeks, particularly relating to debit cards. Thrive wants to help prevent you from falling victim.

How will Thrive Contact You Regarding Fraud on your Debit Card?
If your debit card is suspected of having a fraudulent transaction, Thrive’s debit card fraud company will contact you by phone from an Omaha, Nebraska phone number. You will never receive a text message or email.

What information will Thrive need over the phone?
Thrive will NEVER ask you for your personal information or account number over the phone. Our debit card fraud department will only verify transactions with you.

Should I trust my Caller ID to verify it is Thrive?
No. Currently, scammers are making calls look like they are coming from local numbers.

If I receive a call that I think is a scam, what should I do?
Immediately hang up the call and call Thrive directly. You can call any of our locations to verify that the call you received was a legitimate call and not a scam.
