Dear Thrive Members,
Recently, we have experienced an overwhelming amount of debit card fraud with many of our members at Thrive. We have taken previous precautions that require you to contact the credit union when traveling out of state. Unfortunately, we are now facing a large amount of in-state fraud on our debit cards. In order to combat the increase in fraudulent activity we are seeing, we are implementing further measures to help protect your account.
Effective immediately: Any debit card transaction over $200.00 will require you to use your four-digit pin number in order to complete the transaction. If you do not use your pin number, for transactions over $200, the transaction will be denied.
If you know that you will be completing a transaction where a pin number is not an option for use, such as: hotels, rental car companies, etc., please contact the credit union in order for us to enable the card for those types of transactions.
