Indiana Credit Union League Collects Shoes for Children in Indiana
Muncie, Indiana, July 2, 2012 – Industrial Centre Federal Credit Union has teamed up with Samaritan’s Feet and ICUL to collect new athletic shoes for children in need in Indiana.
Samaritan’s Feet and its team of global ambassadors have touched the lives of men, women, and children across the United States and around the world in an effort to help the nearly 300 million people who go without shoes each day and the more than a million who die each year as a result. Samaritan’s Feet has a goal of putting 10 million pairs of shoes on children in need over a 10-year period, including many children throughout Indiana.
The Indiana Credit Union League has set a goal of collecting 5,000 new pairs of shoes to be distributed to children in Indiana before the ICUL Convention on October 3-5. To donate a pair of shoes, please visit one of ICFCU’s two locations in Muncie. You may also call 765-284-1015 or visit www.icfcu.org to learn more.
