This year our Annual Business Meeting will be held at our main office at 4501 S. Delaware Drive, Muncie, IN 47302 at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 19th. This meeting will include a recap of 2018 as well as the election of our Board of Directors for 2019. It will also replace the Sunday afternoon meeting held at the Horizon Convention Center for the past several years. Prior to the meeting, an open house for Roger Clark who is retiring from the Board of Directors, will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at our 4501 S. Delaware Drive location.
For the past several years we have evaluated the expense of this event with the benefits delivered to our membership. We strive to ensure that each and every area that we invest benefits Thrive Credit Union by impacting a large number of our members or increases our membership.
While the costs for the Annual Meeting have continued to increase, the attendance has continued to decrease. Taking this into consideration we have decided the prudent thing to do is host the Annual Meeting at our office and use the money in other ways to celebrate our membership.
We will be having a Member Appreciation Picnic later this year. We will announce the details when they are available but we look forward to food, fun and connecting with the members of Thrive this summer.
