Industrial Centre Federal Credit Union to hold Food Drive
ICFCU will be “Filling our Lobby for the Hungry” and collecting non-perishable food items to benefit the Muncie Mission Food Pantry
Muncie, Indiana, October 29, 2012 – The staff at Industrial Center Federal Credit Union is rolling up their sleeves to help stock the Muncie Mission’s food pantry for the busy holiday season.
The Muncie Mission services an immediate and/or long-term basis to the poor and needy of Muncie and East Central Indiana. Food donations to the Muncie Mission’s food pantry were down 4,500 pounds at the end of June and were still serving thousands of meals and handing out hundreds of bags of groceries each month.
With the holiday months approaching, the Muncie Mission will be handing out even more meals and bags of groceries to the poor and needy in our area. To help stock their food pantries in preparation of this busy season, the staff at ICFCU will be collecting non-perishable food items at the credit union’s two locations in Muncie. The drive will begin on October 29th and continue through November 16th. Donations can be dropped off in the lobbies of the credit union at
4501 S Delaware Dr. and 2610 N Wheeling Ave. in Muncie.
The Muncie Mission is in need of the following items:
• Peanut butter
• Beef Soup
• Beef Stew
• Canned Chicken
• Chicken and Dumplings
• Canned Fruits
• Jelly (any kind)
• Kidney Beans
• Mushroom Soup
• Pinto Beans
• Pork & Beans
• Spaghetti Sauce
• Tomato Juice
